What’s Akhlut?
A question we get asked a lot is why Akhlut?
In Inuit folklore, the kak-whan-u-ghat kig-u-lu'-nik or akh'lut is an orca-like composite animal that takes the form of a wolf when on land, and is sometimes depicted as a wolf-orca hybrid. It’s an ancient legend about a wolf who can transition to an orca and vice versa.
We want to make legends at Akhlut Automotive, we want to make your vehicle legendary and stand out amongst the rest. We want it to reflect you and we want you to be legendary! Hence, where legends are born! I mean, does anyone really want to be normal now-a-days?
Reason Two: war·rior | \ ˈwȯr-yər, ˈwȯr-ē-ər , ˈwär-ē- also ˈwär-yər \ Definition of warrior: a person engaged in some struggle or conflict. According to ancient legends the Wolf is the warrior of the land and the Orca is the warrior of the ocean.
Everyone has their own warrior inside of them.
Believe it or not, Brian’s favorite animal is a Wolf and Stacey’s is an Orca!
It just fits and this is how Akhlut came to be!
